Delete your account and data

Option 1: In the app

1. Open Storyscape and log in.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Deletion is immediate — your account and data are removed as soon as you confirm, and this cannot be undone.

Option 2: Without the app

storyscapemailbox@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request.” We’ll confirm your identity and process the request without needing you to reinstall the app.

What gets deleted, and when

• Your profile, email address, and password.
• Your reading history, bookmarks, and preferences.
• Deletion through the app is immediate. Deletion requested by email completes within 30 days of a confirmed request.

What we may retain

We may keep limited records where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or security purposes (for example, records of a completed subscription purchase), retained only as long as legally required and not used for any other purpose. Note that deleting your Storyscape account does not cancel an active Storyscape Plus subscription — cancel that separately through your Google Play (or Apple ID) account settings to stop future billing.
